Sketching

I had The Art of Up given to me for Christmas, and looking through I found this page of expressions for Russell which is really good reference for what I am doing at the moment and is has inspired me to do some sketching.

This mannequin face would have been for my Man(nequin) in the Mirror project that I presented at the start of this term. I just did this to get the basic direction of the eyebrows and the mouth shapes.

I then just moved onto a round circular face to make things a little more complex.

And finally applied it to the face of the Mongolian character in our film. I will try and create a bigger range like the Russell image above over the next week or so.
